Fees and Payment for
Therapy Sessions
My fee is $150 per 60-minute session. Sessions scheduled for shorter or longer than 60 minutes will be prorated accordingly. I prefer to receive payment after each session or that your balance be paid in full each month.
Payment methods I accept include checks, credit cards, and the newer alternative methods of Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal. The credit cardprocessing systems I use are HIPAA compliant. Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal do not meet HIPAA requirements for protection against the possible sharing of client data. I will accept payment via these alternative methods given your express written acknowledgment that you accept the risk and take full responsibility for having read and understood this information.
In consideration of financial limitations, I can offer a discounted fee option to a limited number of clients on a case-by-case basis as my schedule capacity allows. Please inquire for more information.
Insurance
I do not participate as an in-network provider with any commercial insurance plans. I can provide you with a traditional statement and/or a superbill. As a courtesy service, I am glad to submit out-of-network claims to your insurance company upon request, so your payments to me may be considered for direct reimbursement to you. I do not keep track of any claims after they are submitted.
Cancellation Policy
There is no charge when a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is given prior to your scheduled appointment time.
There is a $100 charge for appointments missed (no-show) or canceled with less than 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.
